Multi-instrumentiste et compositeur, influencé par des courants musicaux éclectiques, il a fait sonner ses cornemuses dans diverses formations : Valsepareille, Jakashapük, le duo Gourdon-Mauchand, Naïal, Tricorne, Bel après-midi, Cornemuses en duo (avec Jean Blanchard)...
Graphiste de formation, il peint depuis l'âge de 20 ans.
